Our Conditions include a promise to be fair, helpful and understanding. We will always correct any errors, oversights, or misunderstandings.
The last thing we wanted was a list of conditions. However, as expectations are as diverse as our experiences are, we have found that starting with a basic understanding is the fairest way to begin this process.
From our perspective, this is necessary simply because animation is such a labour-intensive process. Therefore, we try to reduce revisions by doing everything we can to get your animation right from the get-go.
Yet, as communication is a two-way street, this process depends heavily on you communicating all your needs and expectations.
Therefore, we work with you to prepare a detailed storyboard. This storyboard will serve as the scope of your video.
Hence, you must ensure that your project’s critical elements are captured in your storyboard and presented as you want them. We won’t start working on your video until your storyboard has your approved.
Most importantly, your approval of the storyboard indicates your acceptance of these four conditions:
1. Substitute voice-overs will incur extra fees:
All our videos come with a complimentary voiceover that suits your location.
If you would prefer a different voiceover, this will incur extra fees not covered in our price.
Please feel free to arrange your own voiceover, and we will synchronise it into your video for no extra charge.
Non-English Translations
Although we will take all care, we can’t guarantee our non-English translations are always grammatically correct.
We suggest that customers arrange to verify any non-English translations and voiceovers.
2. Revisions must stay within the scope of the approved storyboard.
We will always correct errors, oversights, and misunderstandings, regardless of the number of revisions.
Nonetheless, revisions are only for minor adjustments within the scope of the storyboard.
Anything beyond the scope and agreement will incur further fees. Please ask for a quotation if you feel this is the case.
Accepted Revisions:
– Any errors, misunderstandings or oversights
– Titles
– Music
– Characters
– Backgrounds
– Scene duration
– Scene sequence
– Logos
– Props
– Minor action sequences
– Entry effects
– Exit effects
– Other minor details
Not Accepted:
– Significant items not covered by the storyboard
– Excessive or superfluous changes
– Complex characters, backgrounds and props (see condition three below)
– Animation beyond established feasibility (based on our website samples)
3. Projects beyond assumed norms will incur further fees:
All our quotations are made with these understandings:
– Customers can give an adequate brief of what they want.
– Customers have disclosed all vital and relevant information.
– Customers can give the information we ask for.
– Customers complete our requests and reviews promptly (1 week maximum).
– The script does not exceed the agreed number of words.*
4. Prompt reviews & payment:
– Please finish all your reviews within 5 days.
– Unless otherwise arranged, payment is via PayPal.
– PayPal accepts both Direct & Credit Card payments.
– Once payment is received, we will send you a watermark-free version of your video.
– The fastest way to obtain your final video is prompt payment.
– Please note: There are no exceptions.
